LED lighting. Swapping out older fixtures for LED bulbs is one of the fastest, cheapest ways to see an immediate drop in energy use. They're far more efficient than traditional bulbs and last a lot longer.

Attic insulation. In Florida heat, your attic insulation might not be pulling its weight. Have a professional take a look and make any needed corrections. Insulation plays a bigger role in your energy bill than most people realize.
