After immigrating with his family to Tampa, FL from Montevideo, Uruguay at the age of ten, Nico was faced with many challenges such as adapting to a new culture and learning a new language, but none of these challenges presented themselves as obstacles in obtaining the American Dream. Growing up in Tampa, FL. he attended Leto High School and Hillsborough Community College (HCC), where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Thereafter, he attended the University of South Florida (USF) and obtained a bachelor’s with a major in International Studies and a minor in Naval Science. Shortly after Mr. Scaron enlisted in the U.S. Navy. and joined the U.S. Special Operations Community as a member of the bomb squad. As a Senior Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician/Operator, he has proven himself in the management of dynamic, high-stress, high-risk operations and training projects. During his time in service, he attended Pennsylvania State University and studied Homeland Security and Counterterrorism furthering his career development. After serving his country, Mr. Scaron decided to devote himself to helping others obtain the American dream of homeownership. USN Special Operations (EOD) Veteran

Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technicians locate, identify, render safe, and explosively dispose of foreign and domestic ordnance including conventional, chemical, biological, nuclear, underwater, and terrorist-type devices, enabling access during military operations in support of Carrier and Expeditionary Strike Groups, Mine Countermeasures, Naval Special Warfare, and Army Special Forces; provide training and assistance for military, federal, state, and local civilian law enforcement agencies in Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection procedures; support and conduct ordnance-related intelligence collection and counter-terrorism operations; operate, maintain, and repair specialized EOD and combat equipment; and maintain required forms, records, correspondence, and files. Duties include performing and supervising open and closed-circuit diving, explosive demolitions, parachuting, small arms proficiency, and tactical delivery and extraction by unconventional insertion methods.
